Is anyone else still having problems with their partners, not customers that's excusable, in calling it "Pike Place"?

It might just be that I'm being picky, but seriously. It's not "Pikes Place" nor is it "Pike Places" Or how about my favorite "Pike Pikes."

Guy:*OMG FOR SERIOUS?! Face*

I live in a town named Milford. Every year, during the second weekend of August, our town puts on this gigantic festival called "Milford Memories". We have affectionately re-named the festival, "Milford Mammories". Not only is it a complete play on words, but if you say 'Milford Memories', and then say 'Milford Mammories', you'll see that it mearly sounds like you're speaking with a drawl.

In other exciting starbucks news, the paper order was over $2,000. The Seattle was a close second with nearly $1,500.

Ok, so this guy comes in and asks for a starbucks double shot, but hot.

So my silly register person is like, how about we just make you a triple espresso.

I make said drink and put it on the counter. He says "this isn't the double shot drink" and then leaves it there and just walks away. So I ask him what he would like and...

"I want the double shot drink but with no ice in a grande cup"
Me: "well, would you like me to put water in for the ice or anything like that? Because otherwise it will only be half full"
Him: "I just want you to make a double shot, but with no ice"
me: "well that isn't really a drink, so its your call if you want me to put something else in instead of the ice."
Him: "just no ice."

So I make it, it fills less than half his cup and I give it to him. He storms out saying he'll never come back. (Good riddance, but what would you guys have made him?)

Sorry if this is a retarded question (... I get the feeling that it just might be XD;)

I've been thinking of trying the baking soda "no-poo" with ACV rinse. My question is this: is Apple Cider Vinegar any different from regular Cider Vinegar? If it is different, does it even matter?

So, my neck is a lot better today and I slept fairly well last night. Keeping up on the ibuprofen seems to be the key. It still hurts but it's manageable.

Jibjab took parts from their cartoon of Obama and Mcain and let you put heads in them so Connor is riding a unicorn and Ian is driving a tank (that chases and runs over Obama but it's more the fact that he's in the tank that makes me giggle). Anyway those are beneath the cut.

I was directed to this community  and I must say -wow-! =) Awesome place so far!

So the name is Ness; and Im gunna get dreaded up later today/this week! Im very excited! =D I'll post pics after and before! =D

So now I am a wife! We got back from our honeymoon in Barcelona yesterday. I will update with photos from that soon. The sea water and sun were sooo good for my hair! It feels better than ever.

I finally got to meet stuporstar! She and her man stayed at our place, and she is exactly as sweet as she seems. I wish we could have spent more time together, but it was such a nice visit!

Today must be stereotype the dreaded person day! I was just walking up the street to pick up a take out order. As I was leaving a young kid, 16 or so. Dark clothing, undercut, looking all punk and bad-ass is like "Yo you got a paper on you? " and I smirk, instantly thinking of the post made earlier by cottonmouthdn. I politely say no and continue down the steps. "You smoke weed?" I just shoot him a smile because I'm trying to keep from laughing and keep on walking down the street.

Good times, good times.

if you are being nice and partners are being rude to you should you say something to them or managers..I have only been in this store a few months..my old store if you said anything it was turned back on you like you were the bad person.. I have worked hard to be a better person and I don't want to be around neg energy.

on the way home tonight we swung by the pet store just for the heck of it.  this is the same pet store that we picked up a kitten back in '04.

So last night I was closing and in the back doing dishes while my coworker was at register ringing someone up. The door to our back part was propped open but is not clearly visible from the lobby. I heard this noise and look up to see this man leaning OVER the little doors to our area so he can see me in the back and waving his arms and WHISTLING, yes, whistling like I am some kind of dog and pointing at the empty water pitcher in his hand from our condiment bar. I just put down the dish I was holding and looked at him. He was like HELLO CAN I GET SOME WATER??

...

Could you not have asked the girl AT THE REGISTER!?
Rather than WHISTLING at me while I am doing dishes in the back?
REALLY?

I put down my scrubby brush, walked out, got a cup of water, set it on the bar, wordlessly took the pitcher and brought it back to wash.

It makes me so angry that people can be so rude sometimes, like we are their personal servants to whistle at.
Also, I wonder if I had been a boy if he still would have had the gall to do so.

So i just went swimming in the ocean for the first time since ive had dreads... and I LOVE how tight the saltwater made my hair feel. so i decided to mix up some accelerator with saltwater and lemon juice. my question is how often should i use it? i am currently washing my hair about 2-3 times a week. should i use the saltwater after i wash my hair? or like the day before? also do i need to rinse out the saltwater after i spray it on? i checked the memories and couldent really find an answer. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

What's fur and what's not fur? That is the question, so my cat gender detection rule is just as difficult to interpret as any other cat rule I've seen or heard.

AND we've returned from an eight-day trip to visit family in Arkansas.
